A Little Bit About Zoom
The Zoom service that we are using is an online meeting website and app that can be used on any platform. You can connect with your phone, your tablet or computer and you can either download an app or connect via a browser. You can also call in through a phone number, which will be provided in the information below.
Zoom is a video conferencing utility that can be used for meetings, services and webinars. We are using Zoom as a virtual service. Other local meetings may be using Zoom in the coming days. Many churches around the country are now using Zoom and other video conferencing to maintain human connection in this time of social distancing.
You can choose to show video or not show video, you can choose to use your microphone or not. And if you are connecting via phone, you can also mute your phone so background noises will not transmit the group. Or you may opt to communicate with the group your joys and concerns or announcements.
